I have had multiple knee and shoulder surgeries But this was my first time to use Dr. Smith. I liked that he is no non-sense and get right to the point. After 7 previous knee surgeries I new what I was in for but was very surprised by this surgery. After the surgery I was up walking with little pain. Yes, it was a bit sore but not painful. Found out he does something my previous surgeons didn't that keep down post op pain pretty dog gone well I might add. I would highly recommend Dr. Smith if you need orthopedic surgery.
Meningitis Tear, long story; Doctor Smith listened to me about my problem had his team order the necessary test (MRI) to confirm the problem and got me scheduled for surgery within a reasonable time frame (March 19, 25). Surgery went well I was 90% better a week post operative. The issue came when I started therapy (not at TOC but another local therapy location). Matthew Smith is the best orthopedic surgeon I've ever had. My mom and sister and me love Matthew Smith like family. Matthew is the best orthopedic surgeon in the world and I really mean it. Dr smith repaired my badly torn Lt. rotator cuff app. 8 yrs ago. I recently tore my rt. rotator cuff, and Dr. Smith was the only surgeon I considered. His shoulder repairs are top notch and his after care is the same. His staff is well trained and very in tuned. I also had the pleasure of working in surgery with Dr. Smith before I retired from healthcare. Dr. Smiths surgical skills and instincts are a blessing in our small town.
