There's a reason many local docs and nurses have chosen Dr. Oliva to fix their cataracts. Knowledgeable, experienced, good chairside manner, good hands in the OR. What else do you want? I was reluctant to sign up for the light-adjustable lenses - $$$, long post-op rigamarole - but given my prior laser treatment, he felt LALs were the best option. He was right. I'm 95% glasses-independent and I haven't seen this well in 65 years.
After cataract surgery I was left with circular scratches on my cornea. I healed with a wavy cornea that prescription glasses cannot correct. Don't take a chance with this guy.
the doctor is very professional, thorough, and makes sure his patient is comfortable and understands everything about their choices in lenses and the upcoming surgery.
