Doc is efficient and timely, but always makes time for a few jokes or questions to engage the kids. He’s been very knowledgeable over the years, has kids himself, and his father was also a pediatrician. I never had a pediatrician this good as a child, and I only mention that because my kids have no worries going to the doc. I on the other hand grew up nervous to go to doctors probably in part to having brisk and unpleasant doctors as a kid. Thought his condescending nature was typical of egotistical Dr's but he crossed the line after my son was diagnosed with a very mild form of Autism and made a comment at first appt following diagnosis in front of my son and Resident Dr of Children's that compared ASD to what would have been termed "Mental Retardation" 20 years ago. He is offensive and very unprofessional.
Dr. Matt is absolutely amazing! He is kind, compassionate, thorough and always takes the time to explain everything and to answer any questions. He is proactive and extremely knowledgeable. Love his office staff too! Dr. Matt cared for my 3 daughters and is now caring for my 2 granddaughters. We wouldn't think of seeing anyone but him.
