Dr Boente should never have been a dr. I went in May 2014 for laproscopic hysterectomy. He caused an air embolism that went to my heart and my brain. If it wasn't for the anesthesiologist I would be dead. After everything happened he didn't even have the decency to face my family and explain the situation, the anesthesiologist had to do it. When I was diagnosed with endometrial cancer I was beside myself and incidentally one of the ladies at the Oncology clinic mentioned that she had researched and found Dr Boente to be one of the best, so that was big relief. After my surgery Dr Boente made every effort to follow up and track progress and also recommended genetic testing (bcoz of family history of cancer). I considered this quality as being dedication for patient welfare and so have high regards for him.
Dr Boente is by far the best dr I've ever known. I had uterine cancer and was referred to him. How could I have been so lucky! That man is caring knowledgeable and took very good care of me in a very scary time. He visited me every day in the hospital and has a great bedside manner. I just want to thank him for saving my life. He means the world to me. I'll never forget him. Thank you Dr. Boente.
Dr. Bente saved my wifes life. Removed huge ovarian cancer and after surgery he sat on the floor with my 8 year old grand daughter and explained the whole situation in terms she could understand. She was so distraught it was worrying us until he calmed her. Simply amazing doctor.
Dr Boente saved my life. He is the most amazing doctor I have ever had in my life. He is an amazing surgeon, his bedside manner is wonderful. After my surgery he spent over an hour talking to my family, they love him. He treated me like a member of his family. Nobody wants cancer, but if you had to have an oncologist this is the one you want.
My sister had dr.boente when her ovarian cancer diagnosed, she trusted him but when the end was near he never talked to her and that made her feel terrible.i feel he just didnt care. I hope no one else gets that treatment.
I found out that I had Ovarian cancer 6/29/12 and Dr. Boente was doing surgery on me the next day. I had only met him for about a hour, but felt VERY comfortable with him. Explained everything to me and was very helpful to my family after surgery. Was very caring when I went through chemo and some problems that I had with it. All is fine now, but never got a chance to tell him Thank you. So Thank you, Dr. Boente, you are the best!! Everyone at MN. Oncology in Edina is wonderful!
Dr. Boente saved my life and he did it with class and teated me like he would a sister. I felt safe after he became my Oncologist. I had Stage 111C Ovarian Cancer and I am still here 7 years later. I acan never thank him and his team enough. He is very skilled in the surgery department, knowledgeable in the treatment department and he cares about people. Need I say more. Oh yes he is very attractive...
Dr. Matthew Boente is A #1 in my book. He took a VERY scary situation and made me feel at ease. He is the best at what he does! Not to mention not too bad on the eyes either:) A true friend!
