Excellent attentive time and care.
Went in for results from blood draw. Disappointed that the only treatment for high cholesterol is Statins. All that could be done is to try a different statin than the one that left me unable to walk further than around the house. I’ve talked to many of my friends who have had the same problem with statins. Are they really the answer?
Completed MRI scan at Torrance Medical center. Everyone was very accommodating and treated me with care. Surprised I had to walk outside to the MRI trailer. Expected more from Torrance Memorial regarding the high demand for MRis. The attendent said they have a plan. Hope they execute soon.
I have the highest regard for Dr Matthew Mejia. He comes into the exam room ready to listen. He asks the right questions. He responds thoroughly to questions and checks to understand that the question was fully answered. He takes immediate action, if needed, to obtain services (e.g., xrays) and provides referrals to ensure that all necessary attention is available. He has a genuine interest in his patients.
My first appointment with Dr Mejia. I’m 81 and have seen many Doctors. I’m not used to a doctor being so efficient.& all inclusive. He was well worth the wait to see him. He’s a “ keeper “
