Unforcanily we had to see Dr. Mayfield on two septate occasions for our daughter. Four years apart. He was the on-call orthopedic surgent at Cook's Hospital downtown both times. Each time he was excellent. Very patient. We never felt rushed. Hopefully, we don't need an orthopedic urgent again, but if we do, I would see Dr. Mayfield.
Dr. Mayfield clearly cares about his patients individually and always spends extra time with us to explain the procedures my son has had to go through. Our son has a unique condition and we have always felt like Dr. Mayfield's expertise was exactly what he needed. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Mayfield for anyone who is looking for the type of doctor who truly cares.
