I had a total knee replacement in March of 2023 with another surgeon I went back to the original surgeon multiple times because something was terribly wrong with the replacement only to be told that everything was just fine! After 2 other Orthopedic doctors just wanted to cut me open and to a revision. Then I found Dr. Lawless. He was not willing to just cut me open until he knew exactly what the problem was. I saw him for knee pain. I tried PT, steroid injection and gel injection with NO relief at all. He kept asking me to do things and come back in 4 weeks if i was still in pain. He andnhis fellow level resident both told me i did not have a meniscal tear but did not order any further imaging to evaluate. Xray showed some arthritis. I finally decided to leave and get a 2nd opinion. Guess what i had a tear. I have now had 2 failed surgeries and am awaiting a knee replacement.
