Dr. Esson "knows his stuff." He is knowledgeable, caring, and as compassionate as a doc who deals with ESRD every day can be. He takes time to get to know me, listens to my concerns, and explains my treatment in a way I can understand. He will personally call with test results when he feels a one-on-one conversation is best. He is also very good at communicating with my other doctors. Highly recommend.
I met Dr. Esson while a patient at North Suburban Medical Center. He is friendly and very knowledgeable concerning kidney disease. He is always free to listen to his patients first and then discuss whatever is left that the patient didn't mention.
Dr. Esson is fantastic. Referred to me by a friend who is also a doctor, I needed to get some questions answered on certain test results. Dr. Esson is friendly and upbeat. I appreciate his time he takes to patiently explain lab results and current status of my kidney function. I plan on having Dr. Esson as my nephrologist as long as he is practicing.
If I could give this man a negative score I would. He is very rude. I was sent to him because a CT scan that I had done 2 months prior showed that I had left kidney atrophy and a tumor growing on the lower half of it. Dr. Abdullah completely disregarded both because the tests he performed came back normal. He spent all of the whopping 5 minutes of his time that I got pretty much telling me that I was a waste of his time.
