Dr Allaway has always taken a genuine interest in me and as a patient. He is experienced, professional, qualified and current on the latest and best in his field.
Dr Alloway was a consultant, and instructor. to my Urologist in using a brand new ultrasound technique that does a prostate biopsy through the Transperineal space instead of the rectum. This technique does not require going through the wall of the colon and into the prostate. This greatly reduces the chance of bleeding and infection. Dr, Allaway was there through the entire procedure guiding my urologist in exactly how to use the rectal ultrasound probe to accurately take samples of the prostate for a biopsy. I definitely would recommend Dr. Allaway. His biopsy of my prostate revealed cancer when previous biopsies and an mri indicated no cancer. As a result, I have been able to begin treatment immediately.
I have been a patient of Dr. Allaway's for several years now. He originally treated me for kidney stones but the surgery did not go well. He has stuck with my husband and I through a harrowing ten months of a variety of kidney problems since and has always been kind, considerate, helpful with information and connections to make things go more smoothly for us and particularly for my recovery. Terrible doctor that doesn’t care about his patients.
Dr. Allaway is a kind and caring doctor who shows compassion and a great bedside manner. Something that's not the norm now! He explains everything well and even follows up with calls. He's knowledgeable and knows what he's doing! A wonderful doctor!
Very nice & considerate during procedure & the follow up appt to discuss results. Explains everything in detail. Was not in a rush to move on to another room.
