Dr.Holtzman was very patient, kind and very helpful. He listened to everything I explained to him about my husband’s health issues. Last year my husband was in a really bad health condition he ended up at the emergency room. Dr. Holtzman wrote an amazing letter explaining everything he thought was going on with my husband to bring with me to the emergency room. I would highly recommend Dr. Holtzman if your looking for a great neurologist. He listens to you, explains everything so you can understand what is going on. A lot of the testing can be done right in his office which is very nice. We have never felt rushed talking to him and his office staff is very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend

Dr Holtzman is by far the best . I wish there were more doctors like him.
Dr. Holtzman is a wonderful doctor! The only neurologist who helped me with my seizure meds. My seizures are under control. Dr. Holtzman also recommended me for the VNS implant. It has been a blessing to have that implant. I would never go to another neurologist. I have recommended him to family and friends. They have all been very happy with him as their doctor
I can’t figure out where the comments of the post of 4/30/17 come from? Dr. Holtzman is always respectful and tries to work with all my problems even if they are not within my specialty. This patient who was upset with him must have been a drug seeker who was mad that he wouldn’t give them narcotics! Dr. Holtzman is kind, compassionate, down to earth, funny and realistic. He never gives up on his patients!
Let me be clear....I was extremely skeptical that any doctor could help me with my injury. More importantly, I had no idea Dr. Holtzman would be as compassionate about my pain. It was the end of a long day, yet Dr. Holtzman had all the energy in the world to take great care of me. He legitimately cared about pain, my well being, and offered me options. Dr. Holtzman cared about me, treated me appropriately, and gave me the confidence to get back on my feet. Thank you, Dr. Holtzman!
I seen Dr. Holtzman today 5/9/17 He was Awesome. So easy to speak with. Felt like I knew him for years. Highly Highly recommend him. I know a few other Neuroligist are in the Downriver/Dearborn area. I would only chose Dr. Holtzman. I even worked for a Neuroligist and still chose Dr. Holtzman
Regarding the list of conditions Dr. Holtzman treats, he overrepresents the degree(s) to which he is willing to help with at least one condition. Perhaps if you have one of his special interest conditions you may receive adequate treatment. He was rude and disrespectful; was a waste of my money, time and energy. Could not have been more disappointed.
