Always takes time to listen to patients Great bedside manner
I really didn't feel that dr. Matt B, cared that I was in pain. His attitude/ bedside manner, isn't at all caring towards me. He didn't even see me after the MRI, that HE ordered. And his Receptionist at the front of his office, is the rudest person that i've encountered, in all of the years I've been coming to BUMC.
Dr. B. is the best physician I've ever encountered. His goal is to help patients in whatever way possible. He's an expert at giving injections in the perfect spot with absolutely no pain. He once told me he orders special needles (the smallest) so as to reduce painful injections. Plus, Dr. B's demeanor is that of a caring physician with no hidden agenda and no doctor ego. He is has credentials, awards, and special skills that few can match.
This review is way overdue, but my quality of life significantly improved after Dr. Bayazitoglu gave me a cortisone injection to my spine back in the summer of 2012. I have two slipped disks pinching the nerve in my spine. One physician I visited prior to seeing Dr. Bayazitoglu wanted to fuse my spine. Dr. B is always prompt, courteous and kind. Sometimes you feel like you go to a doctor and they only do what's in their best interest ($$$), but Dr. B seems to try and evaluate what's truly best for his patient and acts accordingly. Highly recommend.
