My husband had to have an emergency surgery. He had a bowel obstruction. We were given the surgeon on call that night. We are so grateful that Dr. Beniek was on duty. He saved his life. His care in St. Vincent’s was exceptional. They made sure that I saw cared for as much as my husband. Upon discharge we saw the Dr at the Portland Clinic.
