I greatly recommend Dr. Matthew Alexander. His expertise and excellent knowledge of the actual issue, will be resolved. My daughter needed a shunt to correct the problem a psuedo tumor caused. Dr. Matthew Alexander knew what she needed, and how he could accomplished such a surgery. Her eyesight was corrected when the shunt removed the pressure she had. The headaches disappeared. Her appointments are informative and the staff is very supportive to your needs.

I had a terrible fall that left me with chronic back pain. I was referred to Dr. Alexander and scheduled for my surgery soon after. I’m soo grateful to him and his staff for all their help during this process. They were always available for any questions or concerns I had and I couldn’t have asked for a better team on my side! Best part was I was up and walking again shortly after my surgery.

Showed up at 5:30 as instructed only to sit in a waiting room for 3 hours before asking the receptionist what the deal was only to be told that we’d been “ bumped “ and that we would just have to wait

Office visit for wheelchair bound grandmother took 5 1/2 hours for 2 minutes of his time, he’s a kook to be polite, he’s done 2 surgeries on her, the last one has permanently damaged sciatic nerve and left her unable to feel right leg, whoever is 5 star reviewing must be paid too or just somehow through shear will found a worse doctor. Never give this man a chance he has no problem treating patients like they are nothing.

Had more than one appointment and no matter what he makes you wait hours and I don't mean 1 or 2 I sat there for over 5 hrs after my appointment several times. If you complain he treats you bad and won't see you again.

And still in pain after a very invasive spine surgery. Dr Alexander is only in it for the money. He should not be performing any surgery on anyone!

My mother fractured her C1 and C2 vertebrae a couple of years back. After living in a brace for 18 months, her neck hadn't healed properly. Her regular doctor said, Oh well, she's too old, tough break. After another fall, she was seen by Dr Alexander who thought he could do something for her. We just wrapped up our two year post spinal fusion surgery visit. We tried a different solution prior to surgery - Dr Alexander was straight with us about the likelihood of that solution not working, but we needed to try it first, due t... read more

Thanks to Dr. Alexander and his staff, I can walk again. I suffer from spinal stenosis, myelitis, disc degenerative disease and sciatica nerve pain just to name a few. I have had seven previous back surgeries in Houston before moving to Corpus Christi in 2019. I was 90% paralyzed from the waist down and was suffering from a massive bacterial infection. Dr. Alexander immediately admitted me into the hospital and three days later performed his first surgery to remove all prior hardware to tackle the bacterial infection. Eight ... read more
