Dr. Maryse Lavoie made a critical decision at exactly the right moment. My wife was 39 weeks pregnant after 3 previous C-sections, with our last baby born only 13 months ago. We went to the hospital in the middle of the night thinking her water may have broken. After testing, we were initially told everything seemed okay and that we could likely go home and return for our scheduled C-section a few days later.
