Only go with Dr Lavoie if you have no other option You will only be treated as just one of the numbers. She was my OB but i barely saw her or felt her impact. Most of my OB appts, I was seen by another doctor. Only saw her twice, first in the initial assessment and while i was in labour. And in those two instances she interacted with me for barely 2mins. Dr Lavoie was my OB after I switched from having a really bad experience with midwives. She was absolutely amazing and I can’t see a single reason why she would have a bad review. She’s the first doctor to educate me on birthing options and not judge me from my choice of a c section. She preformed my c section flawlessly and im 4 months post op with zero issues and healing so well. Yes, wait times can get to 20 min but her front desk staff work so hard and so does Lavoie. I had Dr. Lavoie as an OB for my second baby. She was very friendly and bubbly. Always happy to answer questions but kept appointments quick. She alternated with Dr. Causey for my appointments so it was great getting more than one doctors’ input on things. The wait time in the office was sometimes upwards of half an hour but the receptionist was always really nice and helpful. All in all I had a great experience with care in this office during my pregnancy.
