The medical assistant for Dr. Maryam Rivaz was very rude during our phone call regarding a prescription renewal. I was seeking clarification on the renewal process and she seemed extremely irritated when answering my questions. The entire phone call felt berating and was a very upsetting experience especially from a medical professional. I’m considering looking for specialist services elsewhere because of this person’s demeanor.
I Do Not recommend Dr.Maryam Rivaz. She has an absolutely terrible bedside manner. She scared the hell out of me, when she told me if I didn't take Prolia medicine. And if I were to fall and break my hip. I will die! I was an utter shock. The other issue I had, she wanted me to take a third bone medicine. I already did two years forteo injections daily. And generic reclast infusions for 3 years. Meaning, I took what was allowed and acceptable And prolia has some of the worst side effects imaginable And I'm already very ill. ... read more
My husband has been seeing Dr Maryam Rivaz now for over a year for is diabetes. She is the best endocrinologist in Vegas. She was able to get my husbands blood sugars in range 96% of the time. When we went to see her we found out his regular doctor had him on medication that were not want he needed. Dr Rivez's adjusted my husbands meds and what a difference it made.
