Bedside manner can definitely stand to be improved, especially when you are dealing with cancer patients. She became very flippant/rude when a patient did not wake up/comprehend her diagnosis at 5 am after being on chemo from 9-12.
Dr Ackerman knows how difficult it is and frightening to be diagnosed with Cancer. After my 9 years under her care she is as compassionate and sensitive to my feelings and emotions as she was on my first visit She does not "candy-coat" the seriousness of my illness
