Review for Dr. Verhey and His Staff Dr. Verhey is an exceptional doctor who truly cares about his patients. During my visit, he took the time to thoroughly assess my condition and suggested a better approach to my treatment. Instead of continuing with ablations, he recommended switching to a caudal procedure, which turned out to be a much more effective and appropriate solution for me. Dr. Verhey showed up. That's the only reason he got one star. His nonchalant attitude and bragging about his home in Scottsdale occupied most of the conversation during pre-op meetings. The whole spine care system didn't seem to communicate well. On the day of the surgery an issue that was thoroughly discussed 10 days before hand, became an issue with the OTHER anesthesiologist.
