I am a month out from my sigmoidectomy and doing great! My colon was almost blocked and I had a previous rupture and abscess so the surgery was badly needed. Dr. Vinca personally called me back with any concerns which meant a lot. Great surgeon with a sense of humor!
Dr. Vinca was highly recommended to me by a nurse in my doctor's office. After doing some research online I found many other people also had good things to say about him.....and I will be no different. Like the other reviewers said... he likes to draw pictures and tell jokes and his relaxed and laid back personality puts you at ease. I went to the ER in September'23 &found out I had a hole in my transverse colon.It was one of the most scariest/painful things in my life.Dr.Vinca did my emergency abdominal surgery.He was very thorough, explained details well& is a great doctor.I struggle with severe anxiety/depression& he was nice& patient with me. Went in through the ER and had to have an emergency cholecystectomy the next morning. Dr. Vinca was phenomenal and took all my concerns as a young mom into his plan to get me home that same day. Very little pain after and had no issues scheduling my follow up with his office. I would definitely recommend Dr. Vinca to anyone with issues in the future.
I came in for a rather sensitive issue, an area that I have some trauma in. I want to say, the nurse, Viola, was really patient and understanding, and she helped me so much with getting through the procedure. Thank you, Dr. Fact, and especially Viola. I appreciate you ❤️
