She's Moody and Unreliable Dr. Parsons is a control freak. She talks about herself a lot. After over a dozen visits, I know more about her than she does about me. She never took the time to get to know about my medical condition. I signed a medical release form, but she and her office staff never followed up on getting records from my other doctors - which would've helped her tremendously in understanding my medical background. Highly Recommend Dr. Parsons Dr. Parsons is one of too few thorough doctors I would highly recommend to any person needing a psychiatrist. She takes time to listen, and understand your needs vs. many others psychiatrist I've seen that say "Hi, how are you, write prescriptions, your rushed out of their office in 15 minutes, and tell you schedule your next appointment in 3 months". Stressed Out Dr Parsons is a very good, compasionate and caring psychiatrist. She has helped me and my family big time. Since high school I have suffered from bad social anxiety and agoraphobia. My mood swings destroyed my life and my relationships. After many hospitals and therapists I had no more hope because most did not take the time to diagnose and treat my problems correctly. Mr. Excellent experience with Dr. Marthel. she is careful in her evaluation of you as a person, she will not give you bunch of pills you dont need just to keep you hooked. she explained many things about my brain in an easy to understand way and she has many pictures and models of brains to show you. I think she was a teacher in her past life because she wants you to understand yourself and your body to help yourself to heal.
