One of the doctors made us wait for hormone therphy for my teenager when she started showing signs of polycyclic overy. Her testosterone levels more than double within that wait along with a lot of thick facial hair. I also have a transgender son that one of the doctors told me it was a phase and not to tell anyone. When your with a doctor too many years I have found some stop evolving. Hormone therphy isn't just birth control and I'm proud of my trans son.
We were very frustrated with our Dr visit with Dr Shernock. She did not listen to our questions. She argued with us about our son's asthma medications. She made suggestions that did not match our previous care providers suggestions including to switch carseat to forward facing, use only Vick'a vapor rub (very dangerous for kids with asthma), and wait on a vaccination for our 2 month old. Our appointment for 2 well- child visits took 2.5 hours!
Love everything about this pediatrician's office. Everyone is extremely friendly and they truly care about each child. All three of my children have been going since birth and I can assure you that we will never change pediatricians. I strongly recommend both Dr. Shernock and Dr. Mayergoyz for all your children's medical needs.
