She ruined my skin with a clear and brilliant laser in 2017. Melanin never returned. I have fair pale skin. She turned it on the highest setting and when I told her I was sensitive she said “more bang for your buck.” I’ve done c+b since with another dermatologist, who did it gently and knows her and was shocked when he saw what Dr. Nussbaum did.
Dr Nussbaum may know how to do injections well, but I would NEVER see her for something serious. I went to her, explained that I thought it was an infection not acne and why. She didn't listen to a word and just went on thinking she was right and knew everything. She recommended I go on Accutaine (without even culturing anything on my face to know what she was dealing with), I needed antibiotics not Accutaine. Accutaine in fact made it worse.
