Dr. Mark Mewissen is an incredibly knowledgeable physician. In my situation I was told that I had an acute dissection (tear) in my Superior mesenteric artery and I needed high risk surgery. Dr. Mewissen and his team were the only group who believed that I had inflammation and not a tear. I was treated with medication and my artery is improving! I am to stay on the medication for three months and have another CT in six months. I'm so glad I was referred to his expertise for another opinion!
Very poor. Explanation of what could be done was incomplete. Would not go to him again.
