Back in my 30's I was his patient by referral. He listened to me & found that I suffered from Restless Leg Syndrome. With that issue, he did good...BUT...Now I'm 50 with severe leg vein reflux. Why? He NEVER told me that it's crucial to be evaluated for venous insufficiency by a vein specialist if you have RLS! He could have saved me from having to get Radiofrequency Ablation done, which is a painful procedure!!! I'm quite angry that I have to suffer through this because he did not tell me about this being linked to RLS!!!
Finally got a correct diagnosis of fibromyalgia from Dr. Fortson and would highly recommend
Great doctor. Better than any doctor I ever knew in Iowa.
His visits are up and down. During one appointment he may be very interested and offer feedback, yet during another he may say next to nothing and offer next to nothing. This man used to be very empathetic towards his patients, somewhere along the way he lost that.
His performance tends to depend on the day. One day with me you could be very kind and empathetic, the next I was not sick at all and he ain't had no idea why I was on the medicine he put me on.
