It took me a long time to find a dentist for my daughter that accepts Medi-Cal and I’m so glad that I finally found Dr. Tsuei! He was absolutely fantastic with my daughter, she even said that the shots barely hurt! I He was very knowledgeable and a great dentist. Overall, we are very happy!
Complete scam artists Him and his daughter said to me when I asked why they’re charging me $50 a cavity when it’s covered by the health plan of San Mateo that people on this kinda of insurance have their rents paid for them why shouldn’t they pay for the life he has like gas for his daughters plane . "Cleanings" are dishonest. Just water jet and poke around. No scraping of tartar - that would be a 'deep cleaning.' Than comes the upsell: fillings, crowns, straighten... Pleasant people but I won't be going back.
Been a patient of Dr. Tsuei’s for over three years and he’s genuinely one of the good ones. Went in recently for a cleaning and checkup — staff got me in on time, everyone was friendly and professional, and Dr. Tsuei was thorough without making it a whole ordeal. No unnecessary upselling, just honest care. Some of the reviews here surprised me because it’s never matched my experience at all. Solid dentist, easy to recommend.
