I decided to get a second opinion and the second oral surgeon said I was getting ripped off. He said that the tooth did not need to be cut out, that it could easily be pulled. I had it done, with implant for 2,900.00 vs the 4,600.00 quote I was given by this joker. Shop around, don’t fall for swindlers.

I've been a patient of Dr. Shehan for over ten years. Needing tooth removal under sedation. Dr. Shehan is very caring, explicit, and a very good surgeon. I trusted him just recently to remove the remaining teeth for me. He did a very good job and the staff is very professional and caring too. I recommend him highly!

I was pleased with Dr. Shehan and his staff when I had my tooth extracted recently. Everyone I dealt with in the office was professional and kind. Dr. Shehan answered all my questions and His friendly demeanor helped me deal with my anxiety of the procedure.

I had some large tori removed by Dr Shehan and I'm extremely happy with the level of care I received and the end result. This is one of the most organized practices I have ever been to and they take great care in their customer service. I found Dr Sheehan and his staff to be kind and considerate. I highly recommend this surgeon, and his practice, to anyone in need of this service.

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE. Called for over 2 hours day after my procedure after experiencing severe symptoms, no call back. Called 5 times, no call back. The emergency line is a joke, there are WAY too many options for oral surgeons so I suggest anyone considering Sheehan and Smith seek a different (better) option. Horrible experience.

Dr. Shehan is a good oral surgeon. However, he refuses to do even minor procedures unless the patient is completely sedated. IV sedation should instead be offered as a choice for those patients who desire it. I found another oral surgeon who had more respect for patient wishes and needs, and had a successful and safer procedure at a MUCH lower cost.
