Thanks be to God, in the Name of Christ Jesus, the office personnel are efficient and professional. This practice is now part of UAB. Do not be surprised when appointment results are opposite to responses given to your questions upon scheduling. They may or may not be Menopause Society Certified Practitioners, nor help with any hormonal age related symptoms, other than hot flashes.
Dr. Purvis performed my surgery last week, and I had an excellent experience. From the first appointment through surgery and follow-up care, he was professional, compassionate, and made me feel comfortable and well cared for every step of the way. I made my appointment for my annual exam with Dr Purvis office online this morning. I received a call this afternoon stating I had $5 balance that would need to be paid before he would see me, $5!! I said can I not just pay that when I come in? She said no, even though I thought it was ridiculous, I paid it. She then wanted to put that card on file.
