I saw Dr. Potenza after the amazing Dr. Peter Hixson retired:( I had a simple spot removed and had to return as he neglected to take all the stitches out. It became very irritated and had been many months, and a few phone calls, and they FINALLY would see me again and removed the last stitch. As if that wasn't bad enough, he left a large SCAR! Dr left me with significant facial scarring after a simple mole removal form my cheek. His lack of competency and poor oversight is shameful and a black eye to the medical profession. Avoid this Dr. at all cost unless your appearence is something you don't care about. Dr. Evan D. Abbey

Dr Potenza is an amazing Physician. The negative reviews are obviously pateients who can not be satisfied by any physician. He will be my surgeon as long as he practices.

Is there a score less than 1 star? Most staff and PA (Lydia) were great. Having biopsies, MD walked in, head down, never spoke to me or acknowledged me in any way. Obvious that a situation had happened in the office he was more concerned with and spoke only to his assistant the whole time. As a patient with a history of malignant melanoma, no call or notification of biopsy results as has been my experience at all other practices, no matter the tests or studies. Obviously just in it for the $$

Went to Lil Dr Potenza about 5X this summer but came back for reoccurring problem with lip Wanted me to go thru with evaluation process before he saw me Requires Two visits no three when you include follow up Short in stature Napoleonic in demeanor stood over me while I sat . He called it Good Medicine ...which is Latin for “running up the bill.” Lectured me for 15 minutes instead of fixing problem Came close to telling him he needs to grow 6 inches taller if he wants to talk down to me

I certainly would recommend him to family and friends. He provides excellent customer service and treatment. He accommodated my busy schedule by doing something additional today, which saved me from coming back for another appointment.

I have been a patient for years. Every procedure he performed was excellent! He keeps my skin, healthy. I tell everyone about Dr. Potenza. His office staff are also amazing. Very efficient office.

I highly recommend Dr Potenza and his staff! My daughter had to have something removed and she was extremely scared, but Dr. Potenza was absolutely amazing. He explained everything to her in ways she could understand and relate to. He just made us both feel very comfortable. I really can not say enough nice things! Thank you all so much!
