The office staff was kind and friendly. Dr. Lamelo ran on time, and he had a great bedside manner. He made me feel comfortable and at ease.
Dr. Lemel is my orthopedic doctor and has performed several of my surgeries. I just received a letter from Mission Health informing me that he will no longer be practicing at Brevard orthopedics, effective March 31, 2021. I will greatly miss his excellent abilities of performing quality care. Will Dr. Lemel continue practicing at another location? We will certainly miss him.
Dr. Lemel was the orthopedic surgeon on call when I came to the Emergency Room for a dislocated and broken ankle. He fixed the dislocation on day one and then did surgery on day two. I am three weeks from surgery and my ankle is getting better each day.
My knee surgery was exactly as Dr. Lemel told me it would be. Easy, little pain and walking in a few days. Fully recovery in two months , going back to exercise and normal life.
Had a very simple operation by him 15 years ago and my finger has never been the same since. Cannot straighten it and too much scar tissue to fix, which is what I have been told by another hand doctor
I think the world of Dr. Lemel. I trust his judgment, and if/when I need a third orthopedic surgery, he will do it!
