My husband went to Sarasota memorial hospital by life squad after collapsing at home. He was admitted for GI bleeding. During his 5 day stay Dr Kucera did nothing to find the source of the bleeding even though my husband had a significant drop in his red blood cell count. He couldn't be bothered. He doesn't care about his patients and even if you have a GI Dr that you trust, you are forced to see this Dr. .I love Sarasota memorial hospital but this setup is a bad one for the patient
I recently had upper GI and colonoscopy with Dr. Kucera. Dr. Kucera had been taking care of my follow up for many years. I highly recommend his expertise and experience.
Dr. Loewe has performed both my husband's and my colonoscopies over many years. He explains every detail and is open to answering questions. His staff is efficient and caring.
Provides great advise on diet and weight loss to treat IBS-C and diverticulosis.
This office is very unprofessional. Dr Dawson never examined me, never did any labs, if my PCP did labs I had to forward them. Told me he learned in a conference not to do labs let the PCP do them. Waited over an hour to see the MD never had support staff say why he was running late. I owed them $200 for a visit nothing on their portal that I owed this money. Next I get a collections notice and if I did not pay I wouldn't be able to see MD. You don't get your money worth. Stay away from this office.
Horrible. This physician is curt and disrespectful. No effort whatsoever to engage his patient. Will never go back.
Tried to schedule colonoscopy for over three months. Made two office appointments. Needed second appointment because of pain. Couldn't get an appointment with Dr. for two months. Saw NPT who had no concerns and scheduled a fiber test in two months. Needed release from cardiologist. It was submitted twice. Went back to office and they couldn't find me as a patient. Recommend him for endoscopies only. He is uncaring, rushed, unresponsive, and disrespectful in dealing one -on- one with patients. He is more interested in his hospital responsibilities than patients. His office staff is inefficient, unprepared, and disorganized. I had one appointment where he wasn't there, having been called to the hospital, which staff said is common. Horrible experience. He tried something experimental, my mother ended up going to emergency surgery. After his procedure he lost interest in continuing care for my mother. Poor bedside manner. Heard pushed his boss and better trained doctors out for the attention. A loser with no skills. Never going back.
