I think he likes doing that nerve conduction study a little to much. Not his fault that it's so uncomfortable but by the time you've been shocked 20 times it's hard not to let french words fly out of my mouth. He also got really upset when I had a difficult time doing my calendar of symptoms. I actually tried to be seen in Eugene instead and they told OHP I had missed my pretend appt. Dr. Ramirez and his staff are wonderful! I have battled migraines for years, and seen my fair share of neurologists. Dr. Ramirez was so much better than any of them! He asked questions, really listened to my challenges with pain, and provided some incredibly thoughtful options and insight into my care. If you are struggling with migraines, make an appointment! They are really great!
If you want to be belittled, blamed and yelled at while you are in the midst of a massive migraine then he’s great! He does not listen, just wants to force you into agreeing to try a product and gets mad when you say you would like time to research it first. I have very bad reactions to most medications, he tried to push me into a certain treatment , I asked what the side effects could be, he stated this medication has ZERO side effects. Dr. Ramirez is hands down amazing. He is the best neurologist I have ever been to. His staff are friendly, and kind. Answers questions and is knowledgeable. He is also kind, and knowledgeable. Hands down fantastic!!!!!
Great doctor. Great listener and helps find right solutions or medication to help. Such a caring staff! So great having an advocate in your corner.
