excellent doctor-saved my life-would highly recommend him as orthopedic spine surgeon
Dr. Moody is a patient listener and good at answering questions thoroughly. He is not interested in unnecessary surgery. He has a good bedside manner - more what you would expect from a family doctor than a surgeon. My one complaint is that I regularly wait 2 hours or more in the waiting room. For a spine clinic, they should be more considerate of leaving people in pain waiting for an inordinate amount of time in an uncomfortable chair. i understand that there are sometimes emergencies that make doctors run late, but over-sc... read more
Very nice tall doctor. Always pleasant and his medical assistant is wonderful. I don't know what the other guys posting here are talking about and how in the world you can feel pain if you are paralyzed, however he is great!
Very good surgon. Have had 2 surgeries by him. 1 ADCF and 1 Revision For the same Surgery. Knew this was a possibility. Would recomend him to anyone.
I also used private insurance. I would not recommend Moody to anyone. He operated on my mom 5 times and now she is still in pain. He will not see her anymore. He says there is nothing more he can do. The staff is hateful to her when she does call. If he would have seen her again he would have seen that two rods(that he put in) in her back are broken in half. That is why she is in pain!! Her fusion is not healed(he said it was) and it cause her spine to move and broke the rods. She is having surgery once again but in Charlott... read more
Dr. Moody performed a Lumbar Microdiskectomy on the L4-5 for a herniated disk, the surgery went well but his only response to my question about why am I still having so much pain was,"I removed alot of disk, you are going to have pain." I lost my job before I was released from his care which his PA did release me and I kept asking but how can I still have this much pain? His PA says that I'm able to do office work. I am now applying for help for another surgery; this time to remove the very same disk that Dr. Mood supposedly... read more

He doesnt know me.. only took 9 minutes total to visit with me and has no right to judge his patient without even knowing them.. he drops me from his practice and provides no solution... I still need spine surgery and ... read more
