Dr. Mark Swierzewski performed my prostatectomy. He was extremely thorough in explaining all of my options, the surgery and all its possible side effects so that I had complete information to make my decision and I knew exactly what to expect. I can’t praise him and his staff enough. If I had it to do over with, I wouldn’t do anything differently.
My insurance company scheduled an appointment for me, per my PCP. I have never met this doctor, have yet to ever meet him. I arrived early for my appointment by an hour, just to be sure I wouldn't be late for this appointment. While waiting, there was an announcement that all appointments were be pushed back 45 minutes. Quite dismissive of my health issue.
Had to wait an hour past my appt time. when he finally came, he was rushed, did not address my concerns, has a terrible bedside manner. did a rushed cystoscopy with minimal sterilization of my genitals, no room prep (unsterile except for the scope) and threw a prescription of antibiotics at me afterwards. I have had a dozen cystoscopies in the last few years at all of them used a sterile bed and prep with masks, gloves and drapes. all he did was tell me i don't have a sphincter (not true) and have am a candidate for a mechan... read more
Dr. Mark Swierzewski performed an unnecessary surgical procedure on me without my consent and REFUSED to follow up as required by Florida law. As a result, my kidneys are failing and I am dying. Thanks for not caring.
We had questions and he was out the door as we were asking them. He blew us off on not being important as it wasn't cancer. Just keep rechecking it every 6 months. But we had questions that were never answered except that nothing would help.

Dr. Mark, his nurse and the entire staff were super throughout my surgery and the follow-ups. Definitely improved my quality of life. Kudos to the team.
They handled my need for urgent surgery quickly and had me scheduled for the procedures two days later. Surgery went well and several staff members contacted me after completion to ensure I had all I needed for a pain-free and rapid recovery. They shared all the results and reports of the procedure in a timely manner. Overall, I could not be happier. Thanks to all of you
