I'm afraid I must agree with the negative reviews above. Doctor gudesblatt seems more interested in research than in his patients. It is hard to find a good neurologist on Long Island which is why I think people Go to him. His nurse practitioner celenia is is good but not good in terms of directions from doctor gudesblatt trying to work the extraordinary difficulties that neurological problems present. I resist going back to him. M from Sayville New York

A wise and competent doctor. I have no complaints whatsoever. He spends adequate time with me, and has made accurate diagnosis’ that have permanently changed my health for the better.

Beware of this neurologist ! I have been familiar with many neurologists for over 30 years..and he is definately added to the "beware"list. He did not ask the simple, common sense questions to the right individuals before prescribing medications. After reading reviews posted, I know my instincts and experience is dead on.

Strange man. Six month wait to get an appointment. Made a few questionable jokes. He thought he was funny. Glad my daughter was in the room with me. You only see the doctor once a year, if that. After the first visit , you only see the nurse practitioner. Staff was ok but it’s difficult to make follow up appointment s.

Used to be much more caring. He appears stressed and talks more about himself. There is a very long wait to see him. I prefer a physician who is more professional and less clown-like. He does not know all that he appears to know, and puts down other doctors, which is not right. He complains about the healthcare system. If he does not like what he does, he should quit.

I have been seeing him for 10 plus years now.Dr G. has been with me through many trials and tribulations with my poor health but he never gave up.I suffered for 10 years and he never gave up on me and found out what was wrong. I had a genetic condition that he tested for but didn't come up because I was getting treatment for another condition and it wasnt showing! FInally he pin pointed it! You know how when you visit some doctors and they have no bed side mannor?Well,Dr G does & is the greatest

THis man is a GENIOUS. Stonybrook would not even test me for things when i couldnt walk for years. they said take cymbalta. i called them crying begging them to run specific bloodwork on me to see if anything was going on. They straight out said no they didnt think i needed it. They help held up my treatment for years, left me undiagnosed. Dr G had me diagnosed in 1 visit and has me on treatment that is actually begging to help. AMAZING dr

I have been going to him for 13 years. In the beginning I would see him every time I had an appointment with him. Now he just shuffles me off to the Nurse Practitioner like he does't even care about me. I am a loyal patient and he treats me like dirt. One time recently I had gotten an appointment with him. I was trying to change my medicine a little bit and like an idiot he tried getting me to take a medicine that had an adverse effect on me in the past. I mean come on doesn't he review my file.
