My HIPAA rights were violated at this office. I was seeing Dr Gordin and he gave information about my medication to my father which I did not authorize. He is not even allowed to confirm if I am a patient or not. I spoke to one of their higher ups and I quote “I honestly don’t believe that happened, we are very strict about HIPAA and take it very seriously”. Needless to say, I will be in contact with a lawyer.
