As I see from other reviewers, this doctor has many problems with his front office staff. I hope he realizes that is costing him to lose his customers. I am one of them. To start, there were so many people waiting in the waiting room. That is never a good sign and means you'll have to wait forever even if you have an appointment. I had a tooth pulled by another oral surgeon in October who was recommended by my dentist. The swelling on my face a few days later made me look like I was hit by a truck, and my facial nerve was affected, which made me look like I had facial paralysis on my right side. When I went back to him a few days later he looked shocked when he walked in the room. He squeezed the swollen tissue and I almost leaped out of the chair from the pain! WORST OFFICE EVER Incredibly selfish, self serving appointment system. Staff is incredibly lazy and do not listen or follow explicit direction. Customer service absolutely sucks. Appointment times mean nothing. Completely unprofessional operation.
I am currently seeing Dr. Glyman for my jaw issues. He performed bilateral TMJ surgery on me, and i have not had any issues since. I am currently waiting to schedule an orthognathic surgery, and I have all the confidence in the world after my first experiences with him. While his bedside manner is a little intense, he cares about his patients and is good at what he does.
I had xrays done at the other location and they were sent to Dr. Glymans office. A few of the staff had problems relaying the correct information. I went in the first time for a consult although I was told it would be the extraction of my wisdom tooth. He said he could take out the tooth with no problem. Now I have a chip in the front of the tooth that was next to it and the back of that same tooth fell off over a week ago. D Glyman may be a good Dr but an AWFUL bed side manner. He is RUDE, ARROGANT & totally OBNOXIOUS!!! & thats being nice.
I went to have a cracked tooth extracted. Dr Glyman was personally very nice and very professional, as was his staff. I underwent the procedure using general anesthesia, and surprisingly almost healed after only,3 days. I would definitely recommend him.
Told me I shouldn't have surgery cause if I was his daughter he wouldn't let her do it. That I shouldn't bother and I should just go to some cheap orthodontic clinic. Which would actually cause more problems if I just did braces, since my jaws have uneven growth. HELLO? I'm an adult, clearly this doctor didn't bother to read my chart and realize I am 24 years old trying to fix my severe overbite, which requires orthognathic surgery. Dr. Glyman is an artist. My daughter and I got into a car accident and were taken to a local hospital. The hospital was not like our hospitals in Los Angeles. However, dr Glyman who was on call for facial trauma came in. Spent time with us, reviewed the scans and studies and then gave us options for repair. We could have gone home to LA but chose to have him repair our daughter. His Harvard training paid off. Our daughter looks normal. All of the scars were hidden. Great doctor, great result. Thank you.
