I posted on the office page but wanted to post here as well. Dr. Tafoya cares about your eyes and preserving your vision even if you don’t. Yes, sometimes there can be quite a wait to see him but if you go to any specialist, you expect that there is going to be a wait because everyone there has eye and vision issues. I highly recommend Dr. Tafoya!
Dr Tafoya is a caring, conscientious, and competent ophthalmologist. I would recommend any of my patients to receive specialty care from Dr Tafoya. Dr Tafoya is a great example of a surgeon who is both extremely competent and has a great personality/bed side manner. - Dr Jesse Kershner
I lived in Kane’ohe and was referred to Dr. Tafoya. In each of my first 2 appointments I waited 20 to 25 minutes before I was called to see him. On my 3rd visit, after waiting almost 45 minutes, I walked out and never returned. This Doctor apparently had no respect of a patient’s personal time.
