The doctor spent more than his fair share to time interviewing me. Asked all the right questions regarding my health, medications and quality of life. The doctor was eager to respond to my needs and showed a genuine interest in me as a person. Far superior that most. Highly recommended.
I followed Dr Chartier from the Flat Rock office when she opened her own practice in Newport. She always listens carefully before diagnosing and prescribing. Her caring and kind interest in me, as both a patient and a person, mean as much to me as her excellent medical skills. I recommend her highly for anyone in search of a primary care physician.
The experience was rushed and unfortunately disappointing. I heard great things from another patient. Being a new patient I felt as if instead of looking at the past medical history, maybe build a report while doing so but that did not happen. Thankfully she is not a dry personality, is nice and a bit funny which I’m sure other will agree with. Someone that can even act interested in a patients health and life rather than the rushed in and out experience is my suggestion.
Dr. Chartier has been our family doctor for years, we recommend her highly to anyone looking for a physician.
Every time I have an appointment with her, she rushes in and out of the room. I just had a physical and all she did was ask about my blood pressure, ask when I scheduled my next pap, and asked if I wanted a tetanus shot. At no point did she ever ask me if I was having any problems, if I had any questions, or if I needed any refills. I was in such disgust with her that she was in and out so quick that I didn't even bother asking her to come back.
