Dr. Mark de Wet is an exceptional ophthalmologist who helped me resolve a serious eye issue last year when I was feeling extremely anxious. Thanks to his expertise, my recovery was smooth, and I came to trust him deeply. This afternoon, when I suddenly experienced discomfort in my eyes, I felt nervous and worried, but my first instinct was to seek help from this incredible doctor. Without making an appointment, I rushed to the clinic, hoping to schedule a same-day consultation. However, the attitude of the front desk lady to... read more

Most people in their later years are faced with a cataract problem. I thought I just needed new glasses as I was really struggling to see and everything was a blur. After visiting my optometrist, I was told that I had cataracts in both eyes. I made an appointment to see Dr De - Wet where he thoroughly explained the whole procedure to what was going to happen during the surgery and after. Unfortunately for me the results of cataract removal and lens implants has been extremely disapointing. I have gone back to using my multifocal glasses and expensive multifocal sunglasses. I suffer from glare constantly and cannot drive at night. He and his wife are very nice and caring, but it's cost me $10,000 and I am worse off. I find it difficult to see lots of things.

Most people in their later years are faced with a cataract problem and just rely on their GP to recommend an opthalmologist to have them removed. I did some extensive research and asked my doctor for a referral to Dr Mark de Wet at the Buderim Eye Centre. Dr de Wet came highly recommended as one of the most experienced and dedicated eye surgeons on the Sunshine Coast and I couldn't be more pleased with the result. Dr de Wet was very caring and thorough to ensure I would be totally satisfied with the chosen multifocal lens im... read more
