As always, the staff is professional and helpful. Dr. Gerlent takes his time and patiently explains your condition. He never stops trying to improve my health!
He listened to my concerns and addressed each of them and made me feel at ease.
Dr spoke in terms I could understand. Eased my concerns about having mismatched bio valve. Ordered tests to determine if there were any other underlying issues.
He diagnosed a condition that led to a surgery and almost certainly saved my life.
After going undiagnosed for the first 40 years of my life and suffering chest pains and fainting spells for 20 years, two doctors out of so many took me seriously. I had open heart at Our Lady of Lourdes and the care I received from Dr Gelernt was wonderful. He’s a caring, compassionate man who takes time to listen and answer all questions. My husband is now his patient and is very happy with the excellent care.
I would like to give Dr Gelernt a zero for the care he provided my mother with during her stay in Inspira Hospital. He extended her stay in the hospital by "forgetting" to sign the proper paperwork for her discharge. After already being in the hospital for a week with pneumonia during the Covid Crisis, my mother and our family were overjoyed to have her coming home. Her spirits were lifted for a few hours, only to have Dr Gelernt dash them down. His incompetence is reprehensible.
