This man is the kind of doctor ALL doctors should aspire to be like. He sets the standard in medicine not only with his medical knowledge and thorough treatment plans to save lives, but in his incredible bedside manner. Absolutely the best. He’s a very knowledgable doctor and has a great sense of humor. He spends lots of time answering questions and going over xrays and scans. His PA is highly competent and stays on top of everything.

Dr.Mark Vollenweider has been my Pulmonary Doctor since 2013 when I had Pumanary Embolisms in both lungs. He gave orders in the ER when I was brought there by ambulance and he has followed up with me after I made a full recovery. He explains everything in detail and never rushes me when I have questions. Every year he orders Pulmonary tests for my "well baby check up." Yes, he has a sense of humor too besides being a brilliant Doctor. Dedicated to the over-all wellbeing of his patients.
I visited Dr Vollenweider today for an initial visit I had surgery for a lung cancer that was still small. Surgeon said I should be cancer free now but to follow up with lung doctor for CT scans every so often. Dr Vollenweider pulled up my CT scans on screen and explained everything to me in great detail. He was also very personable asking me about my life history. I was with him and his nurse for about 45 -50 minutes. Extremely impressed with his caring and empathy.
