I am dedicated to providing patient-centered family care to all individuals regardless of their background. I enjoy preventative medicine as most serious illnesses can be treated if detected early. Health care delivery, I believe is a complex process that requires a team approach. As a family doctor, I feel privileged and responsible to be an integrate part of the team and to take on the responsibilities of a leadership role.

For the past ten or more years I set up my annual appointment a year in advance. I showed up today Nov, 21 and was told that Dr. Perea is not in, and also, that he no longer takes my insurance. My insurance worked three months ago for a telehealth COVID call and prescription. They claimed to have left a message on my home phone. This was my first visit to see Dr. Peres 's Physician Assistant (PA), David Batista, to set up as my Primary Care Provider after 30 years with another provider. The practice is part of the physicians' network called New West, representing an expansive group of both primary and specialized providers. The 3 people in my family who have seen Dr Perea all say the same thing….he seems like he doesn’t want to be there, has no bed side manner, is dismissive and really doesn’t seem to care. I recently had a similar experience where he was rude and irritated from the get go, for no reason. He should really retire if he doesn’t care about providing a positive and caring experience for his patients.
Dr. Perea is great at what he does. He’s very knowledgeable, caring, thorough and an awesome person! Thanks Dr. Perea for all you do.

Dr. Perea is my primary care doc. He understands who I am, what my conditions are and explains things in a way that I can relate to. I always feel I need to know that I need to know - and if there are areas I need to pay attention to - he lets me know with strategies to address them, all with an empathetic honesty.
I have seen Dr. Perea for over 15 years, and he has always provided professional and exceptional service.
I've found Dr. Perea to very helpful. Excellent Office and staff. Easy to communicate with.
I am not a Patient of Dr. Perea, but my husband is. I do not care for him or his practice. Not once has he advised my husband to get routine screening. He is over the age of 50. I went to his appointment to ask questions because the Dr. Perea didn't seem to tell my husband much of anything. He even made a comment that I was like his wife and she is not a Dr. either. Really please do your job, and I wont have to. I am trying to get my husband to go elsewhere.
