Dr. Kassels has been my doctor for 15 years. He is very thorough and has taken great care of me.
Terrible service. Does not stand behind his work. I wasted a lot of money going to him.
My mom had cateract surgery on one eye with Dr. Kassels. Her vision wasn't that bad prior to the surgery but she felt pushed into it. Now a month after the surgery, her vision is worse than what it was prior to the surgery. When she brings up her concerns to Dr. Kassels, he tries to change the subject or tells her she's not being optimistic! Then he has the nerve to push her to do the surgery on her other eye. For your eye health, choose another doctor. I trusted Dr. Kassels for two years until I realized he assumed I had a punctal plug which is something he could have seen if he took time to do a thorough exam. During every appointment, Dr. Kassels attitude and bedside manner was such that it made me feel I was wasting his time. Additionally, either the prescription was wrong for my glasses or his optician did not submit the order correctly. The progressive lens is not aligned correctly.
