I was lied to and told that my coverage would cover half of the cost. Then they never submitted the proper documents to the insurance company. When I again requested them to sent them in, they said they would, and did not. Then the insurance company called them for the papers, and they did not comply again. I had cadaver gum transplants due to a receeding gum line. He gave me a RX for relaxation to help me deal with the stress. The office worked with me regarding my portion to pay without making me feel embarrassed. The office was absolutely wonderful, and one of the best I have encountered. The follow up paperwork even had the doctor's cell phone so, if I had any problems I could call him directly. I called him since it was the weekend, and he was courtesy and helpful. I do NOT recommend this periodontist: I was told that if I wanted implants, nine teeth would have to be removed. After all the teeth were removed and bone grafts done, etc. I was informed that I could NOT have implants; my roots, he said, were too short. I was coldly dismissed. (It was his assistant who suggested to him that I, at least, return for cleanings.) Lesson learned: One cannot nessarlily trust a so-called "professional."
Two of my daugthers had frenectomies and tissue grafts on receeding gums on lower anterior teeth. Dr. Ferrari is great and very good at what he does. Thanks
Dr Ferrari's office staff are rude and not very pleasant to deal with. When you call them they act like you are bothering them. He needs to get a new front office person who can be polite. Dr Ferrari is nice and explains all the procedure throughly. Not sure its worth going thru his front office to see him.
Dr. and staff were very helpful and made my appointments stress free.
I elected to have cosmetic surgery, to remove part of my gum on my right front tooth; it was lower than my left front tooth. In making this decision I specifically asked Dr. Ferrari what complications could occur. He assured me nothing would go wrong because the procedure was simple. Dr. Ferrarri said he performed the exact surgery on his daughter and that my gum would look perfect after the surgery.
