Very unfortunate surgeon to get care from. Technically proficient, but both the secretary staff and dr fava, are regularly dismissive of patients fears and feelings about surgery. Additionally, the front desk staff is unnecessarily hostile and defensive. My husband was referred to Dr Fava by Dr Beatie after several months of being under her care but not being able to figure out what the issue was. She said Dr Fava would be best to see him and advise the best course of action. I was left speechless after I spoke with the office asking to reschedule his appointment. The best staff ever. The front desk staff are amazing! A role model for what customer service should look like. My Father needed surgery and it was higher risk with perhaps multiple surgeries due to his age and eye condition. Dr Fava exceed our expectations. The surgery received (May 2024) was life changing, improving the quality of life for my Father. He can now live out his life with the gift of sight.
