Top notch doctor. The most informative, thorough and caring medical professional I have ever had the pleasure of seeing.
Dr. Uloko is one of the most highly intelligent women I have met and worked with. I have had some pretty extreme consequences to my pelvic and vulvar health since my bone marrow transplant. Dr. Uloko sort of gave me my life back. The hormones she prescribed to me have brought back my mental health and sexual health (both pretty important as I’m in my early 30’s). Very sorry to hear that Dr. Uloko is leaving UCSD Medical Center. She is a breath of fresh air, honest and direct, and was able to help me with longstanding pelvic medicine issues. This is UCSD's loss.
Dr. Uloko seemed knowledgeable during the appointment but she changed the procedure she had told me she was doing afterwards and did not call or email back for almost 2 weeks when I asked about it. She also prescribed a medication that she didn’t tell me about. I learned about it when contacted by the pharmacy. To top it off when she finally answered my email about the change in procedure her response was to tell me the insurance was wrong. Then she billed my insurance $135 for this email response of which I was to pay $35. ... read more
