The worst office staff! Refused to verify my insurance said to pay cash
I'm sure Dr. Vives is a great doctor, unfortunately, her staff is SO rude and dismissive that she's likely losing a lot of prospective patients! I would have been a new patient to her office, but her staff would not look up my insurance (I had already called my insurance to make sure Dr. Vives was an in-network provider). They said they had no other patients with that insurance therefore they don't take it. "They don't know how to bill it." I love this woman for what she is. Dedicated, passionate, intelligent, interesting and loves the same God I do.
I was referred to Dr. Vives following an eye appointment with Louisiana Family Eye care center! For three years of trying to find answers to all the neurological symptoms I was suffering from due to a traumatic brain injury. Five neurologist and a traumatic brain injury specialist dismissed my symptoms, they said everything from I was faking, I was seeking attention, or it was due to PTSD.
