I love the art of surgery. What drew me to surgery was the ability to identify and fix the problem. I believe strongly that when caring for people, they are best served if you approach their care as you would want for your family or yourself. It is not only important to provide patients with my technical expertise but with the care and compassion they deserve in their time of need as well. Dr Butler literally saved my life. I had a bowel blockage caused by old scar tissue & was in a bad way. She performed emergency surgery & gave me a new lease on life. She was also caring, efficient & thorough. I was just here visiting, but I wish I could take her back home with me. GREAT doctor!
I needed my gallbladder removed and discovered that Dr. Butler was located in Sierr Vista. I had such a positive experience from a surgery she performed several years ago that I drove 2.5 hours for her to remove my gallbladder. My experience was exactly how she described. My surgery was on a Thursday and I was back to work on Monday. Her care was amazing and I always felt well informed thru the entire process. She is a fanatic doctor.

Pre-op explanation was excellent. Day of surgery went vey well as did the follow-up appointment.
Dr. Butler is outstanding! She is compassionate, professional, and an excellent communicator. I'm very happy with the results of my surgery.
My husband had his gallbladder removed by Dr. Butler and we've never met a doctor that seemed to care so much. She listens as well as educates you and explains in detail, so you understand exactly what the problem is and what she needs to do to fix the problem. My husband and I were both so impressed and appreciate her so much. Hope she stays in Sierra Vista, AZ.
My mom suffered from multiple types of cancer, which meant she had to see several different doctors/specialist. In addition to dealing with the emotional impact of my mom's illness on us, we also had to decipher what the numerous Drs were telling us. Dr. Butler broke down the medical jargon and explained to us in words that we could understand. This helped us tremendously to better arm us to make the tough decisions we had to make. An exceptional doctor who delivers a professional and thorough approach to each medical issue. She facilitated timely access to appropriate laboratory technicians and scheduled timely followup in order to address my concerns. An Outstanding Doctor--I trust her judgment!!!!
Our Mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, we didn’t know the first thing to do, dealing with the doctors, specialists, support groups. That was when we reached out to Dr. Butler. She was attentive, professional, talked to us in layman terms what to expect.So informative, but mostly she listened to our questions & concerns. She was the best patient (advocate). Explained diagnosis, impacts on the patient, family, tests results etc. We will always be so very grateful, thank you so much Dr. Butler.
