I should have taken the already very bad reviews and rude receptionist over the phone as an omen to not go to this office. I had called my insurance provider and asked for assistance finding a doctor in Orlando, as I could not go to my preferred office back home. I was told to go here, as they took my vision insurance. I made a request for an appointment online, and gave the receptionist my info over the phone. Upon arriving, I finished any remaining paperwork and highly considered leaving on the spot after being met with th... read more
I love Dr. Poulos. She’s patient, kind and efficient. Would highly recommend her.
Dr. Poulos and her staff carry a very high level of professionalism. They are trustworthy, caring, and very efficient. I had cataract surgery with Dr. Poulus and she and her staff took good care of me and basically all of her patients. I recommended her highly to my relatives, friends, and neighbors!
She is friendly and professional. She alleviated my concerns and scheduled tests without me having to bring them up. Her staff is friendly and helpful.
Very Helpful and Friendly!!!
I was being treated for an infection in my eye. After several appointments, with no clearing I, decided to go to another ophthalmologist when my eye appeared to have a bleed beginning. I was diagnosed with chrysiobacterium indologenes, treated with antibiotic eye ointment and it healed. At a later date I accompanied a friend to Dr Poulos' office and when she asked me what cleared my eye she wanted the spelling of the diagnosis so she could research the infection that I had.
If u are anything like me before eye surgery, u are scared to death. The thought of getting your eye cut into, is to say the least, SPOOKY. Especially for a diabetic like me. But if your performing surgeon is Dr. Margaret Poulos, you have nothing to worry about. I must say that during my surgery, either her hands were guided by the angels from above, or she herself is an angel sent from above to do this kind of work. Thank you Dr. Poulos. I can now see better withot my glasses than with them.
She is just wonderful. Takes the time to talk with you, explains everything in detail. Four years ago when I was seeing cloudy she saw what my issue was and immediately had me see a Retina Specialist. If it had not been for her I might have lost the sight in my left eye. I always recommend her to everyone I know.
She is caring, concerned and personable. She explains everything well and knows when to call in additional resources (retinal specialist in my case)
