Dr. Castro is amazing! He listens to your needs and works out a plan that works best for you. He specializes in seizures and how to treat them. However! The office Staff at the front, especially the cashier Crystal are an awful mess! They have absolutely no customer service experience! They lack all common courtesy and respect. I am so grateful to Dr Castro for his care, concern and brilliance in caring for my 18 yr old daughter. He listened and spent a solid 45 minutes to gather all of information and provide analysis and follow up testing and appointments.
Would give 0 stars if I could. He’s extremely rude and has no consideration of his patients. Worst neurologist ever!
Dr. Castro is by far the worst neurologist I’ve ever had the displeasure of not seeing. That’s right. Despite driving two hours through heavy DC traffic, I never even got to see Dr. Castro. I was only a few minutes late, but he refused to see me because he had supposedly already taken another patient. Which was extremely frustrating, especially since I only needed a few minutes of his time to complete some paperwork. Avoid Dr. Castro if You Want Comprehensive Care I saw Dr. Castro in 2022 for nerve pain and neuropathy. After my tests came back clean, he dismissed my concerns, stating there was "nothing wrong" with me and questioned why I even sought his help in the first place. He advised against seeing a neurologist, stating my problem had nothing to do with neurology, which I regrettably listened to.
