While I have not seen Dr. Marc Schechter yet the process of setting up appointments through the appointment line as well as the office staff is a serious issue that needs to be rectified. The appointment line does it’s best and are genuinely nice but the office staff, notably Pam who seems to lead the office rude crew, is unprofessional and uncaring. I've been a patient in this practice for over 20 years. Dr. Schechter has always been an excellent physician. He is smart, patient, and caring with a fantastic bedside manner. He has always been a good sound board for any issues that I have ever presented with. The office staff has always been helpful with any issue I needed to navigate through. I would definately recommend this practice to anyone in the community!
He was very unprofessional and extremely rude. What happened to a Doctor having a good bedside manner. He used medical lingo that a lay person would not be able to understand. He embarrassed my husband in front of other patients and the entire office staff. I would not advise anyone to see this moody nasty individual.
Unprofessional. After falling and hurting my knee, I contacted the office for a referral to a rehab doctor. His office staff stated that they could not provide a referral because this is not a "pre-existing condition" and although I had a physical exam just weeks ago, the doctor could not make a referral without seeing him first. Amazing doctor who really listens.
Will never recommend - Office is run by girls that think THEY are doctors. Went in for shingles prescription renewal and office help told me in no uncertain terms I would not get it. After raising his voice so the whole office and waiting room could hear, the Doctor said "it would not be discussed again" - Problem - doctor never asked me why I still needed it; in fact he didn't ask me anything. The entire office lost their bed side manners and respect for the elderly.
Dr. Schechter was extremely unprofessional. I tried to explain why I was in to see him and he seemed bored. When I miss understood his question, he was blatantly rude! The office is dirty and the bathroom gross!
Dr. Schechter has the best bedside manner of any doctor I've seen. He takes time to explain everything and always promptly calls back with test results. Despite this extra care and attention, I have never waited more than 15 minutes to see him - so his staff is also excellent at scheduling and facilitating.
Exellent doctor and I only have exellent experience with him.He is friendly,listen to patient problems,explains medical condition.Yes, I did recomend him to namy patient and they told me how happy they are with DR. Schechter, He is doing great job.
